Some people have discovered the potential of a game console and unlocked more functionalities with the help of programs or modifications on the device. The consoles are restricted in functionality so that only a few configurations can be made and the console is just useful for gaming. These devices are similar built like normal computers and made for the specific group of gamers (mostly teenagers or young adults). One of the newly devices is the category of game consoles. The area of digital forensics is relatively new and in regularly steps new devices are released which have to be investigated by an examiner. But also crime where digital devices are found, there is a need of a forensic investigation to get evidences which can may impede or relieve a suspicious person. INTRODUCTION - DIGITAL FORENSICS Today digital forensics is very important when it comes to criminal activities in the internet like data theft or online fraud.
