Using Windows compatability setting appeared to have no effect. However not the case on my current laptop hybrid and although the current computer is not a gaming laptop, they all had Windows 10 64bit installed so I'm not sure whats going on. More confusingly, I was able to install the very same Mad Catz Drivers and the seperate Mad Catz Software on my previous two gaming laptops (Aorus X7 DT V6 CF1 and the X7 Pro V3 before that) without issue. This problem could possibly be down to an unsigned driver issue, however there is no warning nor any dialog box giving advice of this and I was not keen using the system restart method for disabling the unsigned driver check especially as I have BitLocker enabled which would require additional procedures of authorization codes. So the installation is perpetually stuck and neither progresses nor completes. However despite plugging in the Mouse's USB connection to the computer, the installation is unable to continue because the 'NEXT' button remains ghosted-out and the User is unable to click the 'Next' button.
